Emacs holds features that I would have never imagined. Ever. Some elisp hacker must have been under the gun to produce something, anything, for a friend’s birthday to produce animate-birthday-present.

It was a pleasant diversion on my way to correctly typing ansi-term. Maybe it is just a silly Easter egg, where both the writing and execution of the function was a pleasant diversion.
